Best Blueberry Muffins Ever

Description:
Delight your taste buds with these delicious muffins. Fresh, luscious berries from the local farm at Koinonoia highlight these extraordinary blueberry muffins. Other berries, fresh or frozen, can be substituted for a variety of taste sensations.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cups blueberries, fresh or frozen
1 egg
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup oil
1/4 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400. Line 9 muffin tins with liners.
Whisk dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Add berries, toss gently.
In a small mixing bowl, whisk egg, sour cream, oil and vanilla.
Gently mix wet into dry just until moistened.
Fill muffin cups about 2/3 full.
Bake for 20 – 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool in pan for 5 minutes, then remove from pan and let cool on wire rack.

"yummy blueberry treats"
Tried this recipe using frozen blueberries. They were delicious. The sour cream made them incredibly moist.

"Better than Starbucks!"
I have tried many muffin recipes, and this one is certainly the best. It is moist, sweetness is just right, and the wheat flour perfects the texture. These muffins don't last long in our house. I'm usually guilty of eating at least half of the batch. This recipe is a keeper for me.
