Ginger Bread Brittle

Great Unique Holiday Treat

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup All Purpose Flower
1/2 Ts. Baking Soda
1/4 Ts. Salt
3/4 cup unsalted melted butter, slightly cooled
1/2 cup Sugar
1/3 cup packed golden brown sugar
1Ts. Vanilla
10 oz white chocolate cut into small peaces
3/4 cup crushed red and white candy canes

Directions:
Heat oven to 350, Mix flower, baking soda and salt, mix butter both sugars and vanilla. Mix flower mixture and sugar mixture together with one cup of chocolate pieces. Press into parchment-lined cookie sheet, press in 1/2 cup of the crushed candy canes. Bake approximately 30 min. or until browned. Remove from oven and let cool. Take remaining chocolate and melt in double boiler, drizzle 1/2 over top, sprinkle the rest of the crushed candy canes and then drizzle with remaining chocolate. Let cool completely about 1 hour then break into 1 to 2 inch pieces.
