Baked Stuffed French Toast


Description:
Delicious, attractive slices of french toast served with blueberry sauce ( made from our own blueberries) or maple syrup (made at a local sugar house)

Ingredients:
Pepperidge Farm thin sliced bread
Low Fat cream cheese, eggs, milk, vanilla and nugmeg
Ground corn flakes
Melted butter

Directions:
Spread frozen slice of thin bread with cream cheese(softened to room temp) top with second slice of bread-make two for each person.

Beat eggs, milk, vanilla and nugmeg together. Amount depends on number of guests-I do two eggs, 3/4 c milk, 1/2 tsp vanilla and dash of nutmeg for four guests. Dip bread in egg mixture and then in ground corn flakes. Drizzle with half teaspoon melted butter. Bake at 450 for 10 minutes
