"Pumpkin Waffle Review" I made this recipe exactly as called for and found the batter to be way too thick. After adding 1/2-3/4 cup of buttermilk, the batter was the right consistency. I was able to make 7 waffles from this recipe. The waffles were really delicious served with the whipped cream and maple syrup. Apple butter would also make a good topping. My house smelled wonderful after cooking these. The leftovers freeze well. I am giving this recipe only a 4 because I feel the amounts of liquid were off. Otherwise, I would have given it a 5.
