"OMG! Try this!"
Okay, I was not sure about this but gave it a try. Made one mistake which actually ended up, I think, being fine. I put about 3/4 of the pecans in the mixture instead of sprinkling on the top. MMMMMMMmmmmm... I also used 10 mini wheat croissants, the perfect amount. I paired it with 4 mini quiches on each plate and some fresh raspberries for garnish, put the maple syrup on the table, but feel personnally that it is sweet enough without it. Leave it as an option. I did sprinkle a bit of the pecans on top but think it doesn't matter really if they are in the mixture. My sister (at her B & B) will try putting pecans in half and not in half and will leave more feedback. The guests LOVED it! Thanks for sharing the recipe.
