A Healthy & Tasty Maple Syrup Granola


Description:
A breakfast staple that is full of protein and hearty oats. Slightly sweet and perfect with a dollop of your favorite yogurt.

Ingredients:
2 large canisters of old fashioned rolled oats.
1 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
1 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1 1/2 cup roughly chopped walnuts
1 cup coconut flakes
4 oranges (grated rinds) and Juiced
1/2 cup canola oil
1/2 cup maple syrup
1 1/2 cup raisins or any dried fruit (added after baking)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Mix all ingredients (except for dried fruit) in a large bowl. Roast in a shallow 9x13 baking pan for 15-20 minutes; toss every 5 minutes until coconut flakes are golden brown.

Take out of oven and add mix in dried fruit. Let cool completely before storing. Granola will be nice and crunchy.
