Description

Circa 1730. Although the original structure was built in pre-revolutionary times, a third floor was later added and another section was shipped in from Nantucket. The innkeepers renovated the carriage house, creating 10 new rooms. Dining areas include the Colonial Room with hand-stenciled walls and a fireplace, and the Common Room, a recent glass-enclosed addition with a view of the veranda and town green. A traditional Thanksgiving dinner is served every year, and guests may enjoy other specialties, including murder-mystery, Las Vegas and wine-tasting weekends.Publicity and Awards: Country Living, New York Daily News, New York Times, Yankee, Cape Cod Life, Boston Globe, Newsday, Chronicle (Peter Mehegan).Location: Ocean Community and Cape Cod.
