Circa 1721. This gracious pre-Revolutionary War Colonial home is a fun place to soak in New England's history and charm. The home was host to a variety tradesmen including a cooper and a wigmaker, not to mention a friend of Benjamin Franklin. The bed & breakfast is only about 20 miles from Boston and the town of Marblehead offers many fine galleries, shops and restaurants, and of course, Marblehead Harbor.

Historic Interest
Marblehead was incorporated in 1649 and features an array of historic buildings and churches. Some of the highlights include the town's Old North Church, Abbot Hall. A walking tour can be arranged. The American Navy began in Marblehead's historic harbor, and the original painting "Spirit of '76," hangs in the town hall. Historic Awards: Local Register (Granted) and City Historical Site (Granted).
