Circa 1836. This historic home was restored to its former glory as an early 19th-century manor by innkeeper Eugene Cizek. Cizek heads the preservation program at Tulane University and has won awards for historic preservation. His expertise has turned a dilapidated home into a beautiful showplace. Rooms feature a variety of French, Creole, Acadian and mid-French Louisiana antiques, Oriental rugs, ceiling fans, fine fabrics and beautiful light fixtures.
