Circa 1870. The rolling hills of Kentucky are home to a historic farm house on 21 acres. Set atop a hill and shaded by large maple trees, guests are treated to fresh country breezes as the inn rarely needs air conditioning. A fire in the wood stove makes for a cozy family room on chilly evenings. Two guest rooms feature queen beds and private baths. The tall windows in the 1870s guest room highlight views of the neighboring pasture while the Treetops room boasts additional sleeping space on a daybed with a trundle. Breakfasts include a hearty entrée of whole wheat biscuits with sausage gravy, breakfast casserole, or even pasta carbonara topped with bacon and eggs. Guests can settle around the grand piano, relax in the hot tub under the stars, cast a line for fish in the pond, or take riding lessons on the farm's horses.
