Description
Circa 1880. This B&B's location was meant for hospitality. A local attorney built this Second Empire Victorian on this spot, but it once was the site of a local log cabin inn. The innkeepers painstakingly restored their Victorian, which included rebuilding the foundation. They managed to save many original elements along the way. The rooms are elegant, decorated with antiques and reproductions. Antique dressers house the bathroom sinks, and one bathroom includes an original clawfoot tub.Publicity and Awards: Chicago Tribune, Dubois County Daily Herald.Location: City/Urban.
