Circa 1894. This 23-room duplex, was built by pioneer industrialist A.A. Cooper as a wedding gift for his daughter Nell. The side occupied by Nell's family is of grand Victorian decor, generously embellished with turrets and porches. Maple and oak woodwork, beveled, leaded and stained-glass windows and marble and tile fireplaces are elegant features.
