Description

This one-acre tropical estate was designed to serve as a contractor's plantation-style home. Shade and fruit trees decorated the one-acre estate. The grounds include terraced flower and vegetable gardens, koi ponds and waterfalls. Guests can relax in a Japanese stone and tile hot tub which rests beneath an Oriental gazebo. Three beaches are within 10 to 15 minutes of the inn. Kailua-Kona is three miles away, and the inn is about 20 minutes from Kona Internation Airport. Cozy room with queen bed with private bath and entrance. This is an excellent room for covering business needs on a visit to the Big Island. Cable TV,DVD and RoadRunner wireless.

 
Pikaki Room
Queen bed, kitchenette, working desk, private bath and entrance. This room also has a lovely lanai with table and chairs for dining overlooking our koi ponds. Cable TV, DVD and RoadRunner wireless

 
Jasmine Room
This a second story, attic/dormer room somewhat Swiss Family Robinson. It is a large room 11' x 21' with a queen bed, working desk, and room for kids on roll-a-way beds. It has no party walls so is like a cottage with A.C. Refrigerator, a private bath and entrance. The room has cable TV, DVD and RoadRunner broadband wireless access. Very Private. Created for Ken's grand daughter Jasmine.

 
Makua Room
King bed, Room:12'x14', private bath with large ceramic double shower and Air Conditioning. Nice views of the nut orchard. Cable TV, RoadRunner wireless.

 
Malia Room

Banyan Cottage
Over 850 sq. ft., large spacious, rustic and very private cottage, w/kitchenette, sleeps 2 to 5: King bed, double tile shower, private Jacuzzi with jets. The Banyan Cottage is a virtual tree house on the west with a charming lanai, B-B/Q and old wooden porch swing with some ocean views. It has paved parking for two cars at the door on the east with two steps up to the porch and one step into the cottage. The Banyan Cottage is ideal for honeymooners, private get away's, anniversaries and families with kids. It is very inviting and comfortable. Cable TV. DVD with an expansive private movie library and a very large working desk area w/broadband and wireless access.

 
Japanese Tea House
Lovely spartan setting under a giant banyan tree of 200 sq. ft. with Japanese Shoji window and doors. Due to the detached bath the price has been greatly reduced. So it is rather like top scale camping if you are young at heart. We are in the process of adding a full on Japanese wet bath with ofuro. Should be completed in a couple of months. You may take advantage of this price for the future and just might also get the lovely bath. Comes with cable TV, DVD, Broadband wireless and a good writing desk. Has a full bed but can accommodate a family with a couple of kids by putting futons on the floor. Includes our Breakfast Lovers Buffet and Omelet bar with bird watching. for two at this price. Some tell us our breakfast is the best in kona.
