Description

Circa 1855. In the heart of Savannah's Historic District, The President's Quarters is comprised of twin Federal-style townhouses constructed by the W.W. Gordon estate. In 1870 Robert E. Lee paid a call here. Nineteen presidents are thought to have visited Savannah and the rooms at the inn today offer suitable accommodations for such dignitaries. Antique period furnishings, period fireplaces, four-poster rice beds, canopy or carved beds are featured, and the suites boast additional amenities such as balconies and loft bedrooms options. Special services include afternoon wine and hors d'oeuvres, nightly turndown service with cordials and local sweets and personal itinerary service. Breakfast is served in parlor or in the courtyard.
