Circa 1847. This elegantly restored Federalist-style mansion built by Eliza Thompson is one of Savannah's oldest operating inns. Set on a brick-paved street in the heart of the historic district, this architectural landmark built around a magnificent courtyard consists of 25 spacious guest rooms, some featuring gleaming heart-pine floors and period antiques. Some of the rooms also offer decorative fireplaces. A deluxe continental breakfast, including richly brewed coffee, is served each morning in the courtyard.
