Surrounded by 300-year-old oak trees, this log exterior inn is ready to treat guests to true Southern hospitality near Charleston. The full breakfast changes daily and Sunday mornings feature cream cheese and chive scrambled eggs and pan-seared rib-eye steak. A wall of windows brings the morning sun into the breakfast room filled with tables for two. All guest rooms are on the second floor and were named to celebrate the rich culture of the South. Comfortable queen beds are located in the Magnolia, Indigo, Palmetto, and Cotton rooms; or relax on the king bed in the Plantation Room. Complimentary parking and Wi-Fi access are included. Exposed beams and a stone fireplace add a rustic ambiance while the leather sofa invites guests into the living room. Just as the Plantation was the center of Low Country living, our Plantation room with a king size bed allows you to relax and enjoy our facilities. A sitting area, private bath, tv, marsh view and large closet, will add to your enjoyment while visiting the Charleston area.

A true symbol of the South, the magnolia tree with it's aromatic blossoms causes everyone to have a drawl in their speech. This room with queen poster bed, private bath, tv, and view of a large Magnolia tree just outside the window is the perfect starting point for a Charleston vacation.

Indigo Room
A blue dye, originally extracted from the woad plant, indigo was key to bringing wealth to the low country. This room with a queen poster bed, private bath with ball and claw tub, tv, and shuttered windows, is reminiscent of a time long past.

South Carolina is nicknamed the Palmetto State. The silhouette of the palmetto also graces the state flag. The inn is in close proximity to Fort Moultrie, which was once built from Palmetto Logs. This room has a queen bed, private bath, tv, view of the tidal creek and large closet, making it a wonderful spot to relax after viewing the sights of Charleston.
