Description

Circa 1895. This charming hotel reflects the Victorian ambiance of a historic mining town. The building was redecorated recently to its former glory and is the only remaining original Victorian hotel and bar in Telluride. Much of the bar's interior is original, including a cherrywood back bar with carved lions imported from Austria. The adjoining Sheridan Opera House hosted such stars as Sarah Bernhardt, Lillian Gish and William Jennings Bryan. Guests can relax in their cozy guests rooms or in the library or parlor. Fluffy terry robes, in-room ceiling fans, a fitness room and rooftop hot tubs await to pamper you. The hotel is a two-block walk from ski lifts and gondola.Publicity and Awards: Rocky Mountain News, San Francisco Examiner, Inn Style, Ski, Bon Appetit, Sunset, Arizona Republic.Location: Mountains and Colorado Rocky Mountains.
