Circa 1924. Situated on 52 private acres along the high desert creeks in the heart of Coronado National Forest, this secluded retreat is the perfect place to refresh and nourish both body and spirit. Located in Patagonia, Arizona just 60 miles south of Tucson, the surroundings are also ideal for bird watchers. Originally the headquarters of the Rocking Chair Ranch, there are several historic buildings including the adobe, wood and plaster ranch house and an 1830 Amish barn from Pennsylvania. Stay in a guest room with period furnishings in the main house or a separate pet-friendly casita that includes a kitchenette. A world-class gourmet breakfast is offered in the dining room. Rent mountain bikes or horses to ride nearby. Take a wine-tasting tour at a local vineyard. Packages are available.Location: Mountains.
