Historic Interest

Originally a two-story log cabin, it was built circa 1741. James Lincoln owned the farm from 1810 to 1834 and he was a great-uncle to President Lincoln. His mother was Anna Boone and a first cousin to the famous frontiersman, Daniel Boone. We have most of the origianl deeds to the property dating back to the 1700s and written on sheepskin. They have been preserved and are available for our guests to view. Rozanna's ancestors owed the farm in 1794, again in the 1800s, and from 1904 to the present. These ancestors were all Amish, including Rozanna's father. The farm is located on the original Conestoga Turnpike where the Conestoga wagons would start their trek out west. These wagons were made in nearby Reading.
Historic Awards: Century Farm Award - The farm has been in our family 102 years.
Historic Memberships: Local Historical Society.

Romantic Interest

The Lincoln Room offers a quaint jetted clawfoot tub for two. Enjoy the romance of an original fireplace in the Victorian Room. The hot tub on the back patio is enjoyed by all. Guests are treated to fresh flowers in each room.
