Description

Circa 1885. Although Cascade is only six miles from Colorado Springs, guests will feel as though they are staying in a secluded mountain getaway at this Victorian inn, listed in the National Register. An affluent New Yorker built the historic hotel, which accommodates the many guests traveling the Ute Pass. The decor is Victorian, but rooms are uncluttered and airy. Several rooms are furnished with antiques original to the hotel. Three different homemade breads and entrees such as frittatas with herbed potatoes are served during breakfast service.Publicity and Awards: Country Magazine, Denver Post, Colorado Springs Gazette, Rocky Mountain News, AAA rating, BBIC rating.Location: Mountains.
