Numerous outdoor activities include croquet, volleyball, horseshoes and snowshoeing. Beamed guest bedrooms are tastefully furnished. Several feature pencil post canopy beds and antique soaking tubs. The Franklin Pierce Room, the first-floor master suite, boasts a fireplace as well. Early risers appreciate coffee or tea delivered to the door each morning. A hearty country breakfast is served in the dining room, open-air kitchen, patio or deck.
