Circa 1873. The 23-room Victorian mansion on "Historic Hill" was originally built as the private residence of famous architect George Champlin Mason. Historically preserved and restored guest rooms feature period furnishings, sitting areas, and romantic working fireplaces. Two elegant guest suites boast individual sitting rooms. Separate pet-friendly accommodations are available for those traveling with furry companions. Guests are invited to enjoy afternoon refreshments on the porch overlooking the garden or relax by the fire in the parlor or the library. A gas grill is available for those that want a quiet dinner on the patio by the fire pit. Park the car on-site then walk to beaches, the harbor, and museums.
