Circa 1909. This inn was built on the foundations of an 1870 tannery and a 1790 grist mill. Secluded, yet within the city, the inn features a cascading waterfall, historic waterwheel and meandering creek on one acre of gardens and redwoods. Country French decor, cozy fireplaces, and deep-soaking whirlpool tubs are luxurious amenities of the Babbling Brook. In the evenings, complimentary wine and cheese are served.Publicity and Awards: Country Inns, Yellow Brick Road, Times-Press-Recorder, Reno Air Magazine, Romantic Homes Magazine.Location: Ocean Community, One, a half hours south of San Francisco and on Monterey BAy. 45 minutes north of Carmel/Monterey.
