Circa 1897. A Queen Anne Victorian home, named for the first owners, has been transformed into a relaxing retreat. The inn previously served as a residence, hospital, nursing home, and boarding house. Period décor is highlighted by original building features such as oak woodwork and eight-foot tall pocket doors. The main house boasts five unique guest rooms with private bathrooms and queen beds or two full beds. The spacious and private Carriage House features a fully-equipped galley kitchen, dining table, sitting area, king bed, fireplace, and two-person spa tub. Guests are treated to a complimentary glass of wine, beer, soda, tea, or coffee upon arrival. The gracious hospitality continues each morning with a two-course breakfast; guests in the Carriage House are served breakfast in their room. The Carriage House features a spacious room with a private entrance overlooking our pond and fountain. Scandinavian Suite
This large, bright room with knotty pine walls and a natural pine floor features an antique oak-leaf carved bed. Similar to Norwegian and Swedish homes, the room has pinewood stained the red and blue colors typical of Norway, and the bathroom painted the bright yellow seen in Sweden. The room features a two-person spa whirlpool and a private deck.

Heather Suite
The Heather Suite has oak floors, antique oak and ash furniture, and a comfortable queen bed with no footboard. The bed has an Abigail Adams matelass� bedspread with an ornate floral design framed by French scrollwork and finished with scalloped fringe. The room�s bay windows overlook the fountain and pond to the north. The bath has a heart-shaped whirlpool tub and rain shower.

Amish Suite
This spacious third floor suite features Amish furniture. The two king beds have hand-made traditional quilts from the local Amish. Knotty pine covers the many angles of the Victorian roof. It includes a large, private bathroom with shower. The room overlooks the lawn and treetops, and provides a wonderful retreat to curl up with a good book, watch TV, or just take a nap.
