Historic Interest
Lavender Inn was originally the first schoolhouse in the town of Nordoff, which was changed to Ojai during World War 2. It was later the home of the Ojai mayor then later Ojai Manor Hotel. In 1996 it was converted to a Bed & Breakfast renamed to Moons Nest Inn. The Hartleys bought the buildings in 2003 and changed the name to Lavender Inn, lovingly remodeling through the years. Historic Awards: City Historical Site (Applied). Historic sites nearby: Buenaventura Mission (15 miles)

Romantic Interest
So many reasons our inn is romantic: the veranda and gardens, the fireplace in the cozy living room or cottage, the abundance of flowers inside and out, the decor in each of our rooms looks like a magazine from every angle.
