Circa 1888. When this Victorian mansion was constructed, Cheyenne was the richest town in the world for its size. The home's brilliant architecture serves as a reminder of this grand time in the city's history. The home boasts meticulously restored woodwork, including a grand staircase adorned with an ornate gaslight. The cast bronze fireplaces are topped with mirrors that reach the ceilings. Bronze medallions were set in the front doors, and guests will find stained glass throughout the home. The home's parlor still includes two paintings commissioned by the home's first owner, Erasmus Nagle. Nagle made his fortune in both the grocery and cattle businesses.
