Description

Circa 1858. Now a peaceful B&B, Meadow Creek Ranch Bed & Breakfast Inn was originally built in 1858 as an overnight stage coach stop during the gold rush era and later became a lumber mill and a working ranch. Gracing seven acres, the park-like grounds are accented by a seasonal creek. Nap in a hammock or relax on the front porch. Centrally located between the two entrances to Yosemite National Park in Mariposa, California, the scenic Sierra Mountains offer majestic surroundings and activities. Accommodations include the Country Cottage with a gas fireplace and the Garden Gate Room with a patio entrance. Both include a clawfoot tub and antique furnishings. Gather each morning for a family-style breakfast in the dining room. Locally grown and organic produce are used when possible.Publicity and Awards: San Francisco Chronicle, Gazette, Signature, Los Angeles Times, Best of the Gold Country.Location: Mountains and Historical Ranch.
