Description
Circa 1879. This two-story Italianate-style bed and breakfast, built in 1879, was originally the home of a Civil War surgeon who had his practice in town. Renovated in 2003, four luxurious bedrooms provide ample private sitting space, fireplaces and double whirlpools to relax in. Start each morning with breakfast in bed or perhaps listening to birds chirping while sitting on the porch with a warm cup of coffee and a good book. Take a ride on the ferry across Lake Michigan, or enjoy the beaches of Wisconsin in the summer. Catch a show at the theater, shop in town or see a live sporting event in nearby Green Bay. Hosts Paul and Janice Zencka provide the comfort and local knowledge that guests need to thoroughly enjoy their stay in Manitowoc.Publicity and Awards: Herald Times, Wisconsin Trails, Great Lakes Cruiser, Chicago Daily Herald, NBC.Location: City/Urban.
