Historic Interest
Sorensen's is located along the Historic Emigrant Trail whose travelers used this route after the Donner Party failed. This route was traveled by native Americans, who guided Kit Carson and John C. Fremont up and over what is now known as Carson Pass. Guests are welcome to partake in our scheduled Emigrant Trail Tours.
