Although the Marl Inn is fairly new, built in 1978, the original structure that rested on this property dated back to 1716, and the land was surveyed in the 1690s. The inn includes four guest accommodations. There are two guest rooms and two spacious suites. The suites include a bedroom, living room, bathroom and kitchen. If you are a history buff in need of local information, look no further than the innkeeper of this bed & breakfast. A local resident for more than fifty years, innkeeper Eugene Marlin has lead historic walking tours of the historic village for several years. Guests may borrow an inn bicycle and explore the town. The inn is within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and is two blocks from York River.
