Circa 1828. The area's oldest surviving antebellum home, this Greek Revival was saved from demolition, moved to this 400-acre estate and extensively restored. Listed in the National Register, its historic and architectural significance is seen in the intricate details found in the public rooms. Experience Southern hospitality accented by European charm in a quiet and secluded setting with a classic elegance. Each guest bedroom and suite boasts a fireplace, as do two bathrooms. An unsurpassed two-course breakfast may include fresh-baked bread and muffins, a fruit appetizer of Poached Pears with Blueberries or Southern Pecan Peaches and a main entree of Oven-Shirred Eggs or Herbed Goat Cheese Omelette. Historic Interest

Built in 1828. Lancaster's oldest surviving antebellum home. Owners hid in attic when the Sherman troops occupied "Lancasterville." Placed on the National Register in 1979. Slated for demolition in 1998. Moved and faithfully restored in 1999. Dedicated by SC Governor Jim Hodges on May 21, 2000.
