Circa 1774. In the Historic District near Waterfront Park and the harbor, this elegant inn was a series of 1860s warehouses before refurbishing into distinctive lodgings. Romantic guest bedrooms feature canopy or sleigh beds, open beam ceilings, reproduction wallpaper, antiques, original artwork, newspaper delivery and two-line telephones with data port. Spacious suites boast working fireplaces, travertine marble baths with whirlpool tubs and separate showers. Indulge in a traditional Southern breakfast buffet complete with grits.
