Description

Circa 1902. This turn-of-the-century, Spanish-style inn was built to be one of the region's finest hotels. The richly restored building, which is listed in the National Register, displays many original elements and charming features such as an 1820s bank teller's station. Each guest room has been individually decorated. Southern cuisine with a touch of the Continental fill the menu at the inn's restaurant, a gourmet eatery where guests enjoy not only the food, but the ambiance. Formally dressed waiters attend to your every need. Guests are pampered with breakfast and afternoon tea, and with menu items such as roasted garlic and Vidalia onion cream soup, crab cakes, roast rack of lamb and succulent desserts, they'll probably want to stay for dinner.
