Description
Circa 1792. This gracious three-story manor was built by William Bradford after the site's original home was burnt during a 1778 British raid. The Bradford's constructed the home in classic Federal Revival style, but 19th-century renovations alter the appearance. The interior additions included a beautiful foyer with a showpiece mahoghany staircase, which leads up to the formal common and dining rooms. The wonderful breakfasts are prepared by the inn's reknown chef, a graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America.
