Circa 1957. Guests at the Steamboat Inn enjoy "the greatest stretch of summer steelhead water in the United States." Some accommodations feature a veranda view overlooking the river. The cottages have fireplaces, soaking tubs and mini-kitchens, while the River Suites are distinguished by king-size beds and soaking tubs that overlook the river. The innkeeper's famous cookbook, "Thyme and the River" boasts recipes and reflections of life at Steamboat. Relax in rustic luxury in one of our eight River View Cabins. All rooms feature a king size bed or two twin beds, depending on your needs. The gas stove will keep you warm in the winter and the breeze off the river will keep you cool in the summer. And did we mention the view? Hideaway Cottages
The five Hideaway Cottages are located one-half mile from the Inn in a wooded setting. Each pet friendly cottage sleeps up to four people and features a living room with fireplace, king size bed in the master bedroom, a large bath with tiled soaking tub, a sleeping loft (with a king bed or two twins, depending on your needs), and a mini-kitchen for snacks and light housekeeping. Camp Water Houses
These three bedroom 1.5 bath houses have full kitchens, large living and dining areas, and washers and dryers. The Mott Trail runs below the houses and just past that is the famous Campwater section of the North Umpqua. The houses have yards with outdoor seating and gas grills. The bedrooms have king or twin beds, depending on your needs. Accommodating up to six people and pet friendly, these houses are perfect for families and groups.
