Description

Circa 1878. Listed in the National Register, this adobe mansion was built with a Victorian design. Imparting a casual elegance, the inn's original trim and millwork are enhanced by modern renovations. Refreshments in the parlor are enjoyed throughout the day. Some of the spacious guest bedrooms can be made into adjoining suites. They feature fine linens, period antiques, Jacuzzi tubs, dish network TV, VCR and a refrigerator concealing armoire. Gourmet breakfast is served in the grand dining hall. A pool and spa offer refreshment along with wireless Internet. Cancellation: For cancellations received more than seven days prior to your arrival date, there is a $25 cancellation fee, which may be offered back to you as a certificate to use on your next completed stay. For cancellations received within seven days of your arrival date, the cancellation charge is one half of the charges that would have been incurred for your entire stay.

This is thought to be the oldest 'contemporary' home in Arizona--built just 20 years after Tucson and Southern Arizona were purchased by the United States from Mexico. There are no other known examples of San Francisco Victorian homes built of adobe mud block.
