The pre-Civil War home was named in honor of its first resident, Lewis McKever, a prominent landowner, farmer and horse breeder. The lush, 10-acre grounds offer walking trails and fields bursting with wildflowers. Continental breakfasts are served on the second-story porch, which affords a view of the grounds and herb garden. Guest rooms include antiques, some of which were refurbished by the innkeepers themselves.
