Gather in the Great Room that features 12-foot beamed ceilings, chestnut wainscoting and a keyhole staircase crafted in England. Read, play chess or watch TV by the fire in the game and sitting rooms. Relax on the spacious wraparound porch rockers and swing. Many of the luxurious guest suites boast Jacuzzi tubs and gas fireplaces. Bountiful breakfasts create memorable experiences in the sunporch dining room. Swim at the beach, just one block from the inn. Built in 1890 as a summer residence of Howard Conkling. Chestnut wainscoting and moldings throughout the Inn. The staircase is called a keyhole design, all built in chestnut. Parkay floors with a trim of applewood, and cherry. * foot doors with fabulous hinges lead out to the spacious wrap around porch and grounds. Historic Memberships: Local Historical Society.
