Circa 1907. This 1906 Dutch Colonial mansion is set on more than six acres and offers wonderful views and a long waterfront on Lake George. The innkeepers restored the turn-of-the-century inn and its four guest rooms. It was a redecorating project by House Beautiful magazine, which featured it on six-pages. The living room is stunning, the decor and furniture arrangement was selected carefully as not to overpower the lake views. There is a veranda lined with wicker for those who wish to relax and enjoy the sight of mountains and the water. A buffet breakfast is presented each morning with items such as souffles, frittatas, granola, cereal, fruit and homemade baked goods.Publicity and Awards: House Beautiful, Forbes, FYI, Albany Times, Union Glens Falls, Post Star, Chronicle, New York News, Wall Street Journal, chosen as one of twelve "Best Undiscovered B&Bs in America", Albany Channel 10 News.Location: Mountains and Waterfront.
