Circa 1880. This homestead ranch is situated in the high desert and oak woodland north of Tucson. Four housekeeping cottages are furnished in antiques. Rise to the din and clatter of geese, ducks and chickens. Winter guests are treated to a delectable breakfast in the large kitchen of the main ranch house, which boasts a wood-burning stove. In the warmer months, the meal is served on the airy front porch overlooking an iris garden. Innkeepers Margot and Tom Beeston possess a variety of unusual talents. Tom repairs and resotres stringed instruments. His workshops are on the property and may be toured. Margot is licensed to rehabilitate injured or orphaned wildlife. She can provide guests with extensive knowledge of the local flora and fauna.Location: Mountains.
