Description
Circa 1850. This adobe hacienda sits on a rise overlooking Taos and is surrounded by large cottonwood, blue spruce, apple, apricot and pinon trees. This estate, which offers panoramic views, originally served as a farmer's home, but later was home to an artist. As the years went by, rooms were added. Most rooms include special items such as kiva fireplaces, hand-woven wall hangings, dried flowers, log four-poster beds and hand-painted vanities. The Southwestern-style rooms all have private entrances. The outdoor hot tub boasts a wonderful view. Healthy, homemade breakfasts are served in a room filled with antiques. The home is set on more than seven acres, located less than two miles from the Plaza.Publicity and Awards: Denver Post Travel, Inn for the Night, Dallas Morning News, West, Country, Houston Chronicle.Location: Mountains.
