Description

Circa 1850. Experience the history of the Old West at the original site of the Lincoln County War, where Billy the Kid and his "Regulators" took refuge. Guests actually can stay in the room where Billy the Kid was held. The Main House, built in the mid-1800s in exquisite adobe offers wood-burning stoves, antiques and hand-made quilts in each guest room. The Mill house, built in the 1880s then used as nurses' quarters and a lodge hall, now serves as an ideal location for family reunions and retreats. The recently built Casa Nueva houses two private suites, allowing guests a private retreat of their own. The inn's critically acclaimed restaurant, Isaac's Table, offers candle-lit dining, a wine cellar and a menu with worldwide flair. Situated on six acres surrounded by fresh-cut green grass and lush gardens, this New Mexico territorial home combines the beauty of Victorian décor with the rugged West in a peaceful harmony that has been enjoyed by many happy returns.Location: Country.
