Historic Interest

The Bottger Mansion of Old Town is the one of the few mansions still in its original form. It was called the "Pride Of Old Town," one of the first residences to have gas light, as well as pressed tin ceilings, hardwood floors, a dumbwaiter, and a mural painted by the grandson of Charles Bottger in 1935.

Guest rooms have very comfortable beds, historic photographs and some period antiques. The most romantic room has a queen bed with net and pearl canopy, loveseat and mountain view, and its bathroom has a clawfoot tub with shower and a chandelier.
