Description
Circa 1861. Once a bustling silver mining town, Unionville now has only a handful of citizens, and Old Pioneer Garden Guest Ranch is just down the road from town. Accommodations are in a renovated blacksmith's house, a farmhouse and across the meadow in the Hadley House. Samuel L. Clemens once stayed at this inn, and modern guests can still settle down in front of a fire in the inn's library. A Swedish-style gazebo rests beside a bubbling stream, and there are orchards, grape arbors, vegetable gardens, sheep and goats. A country supper is available. The innkeepers can accommodate visiting horses in their barn and corrals.Publicity and Awards: Denver Post.
