Circa 1919. This handsome two-story farmhouse was built by Walter Trumbull using treasures he gathered from old Dartmouth College buildings and fraternity houses. Presiding over 16 acres with stands of maple and a meandering brook, the inn offers a cozy refuge for all, including cross-country skiers and Dartmouth College alumni and parents. White Room
1 Queen & 1 Sleep Sofa- A bright and spacious room on the second floor, the White Room has a queen-size cherry bed and a comfortable sofa that converts to a queen-size bed. Both have silky cotton sheets, down pillows and down comforters. An elegant room, the cherry armoire contains a TV/VCR plus DVD player, easily viewable from the couch or the bed. The built-in desk area has shelves above with assorted reading matter. With windows on three sides , there's always a breeze although we do install a window air-conditioner during the summer months. The large private bath has a large double vanity, plenty of counter space and a lots of mirrors. The tub/shower combination features a curved shower rod making it feel extra spacious. The White Room, has a maximum occupancy of four. Terra Cotta Room
This lovely large room on the third floor has been painted a soft warm terra cotta color. It's especially inviting when filled with afternoon sunlight as it extends from the front to the back of the house and has western exposure. The queen bed has a comfortable pillow-top mattress and the silky all-cotton sheets will lull you to slumber. The large window seat overlooks the Mink Brook and is the perfect place to cuddle with a good book. If you didn't bring your own, you can choose from the library within the room that contains eclectic titles ranging from a collection of Jack London novels to British History volumes to the latest fiction. The white armoir doubles as a small desk. There is a TV/VCR, alarm clock/radio and high-speed wireless internet access. The private bath has a tub/shower combination, thirsty towels and a fluffy bath mat. The pedestal sink is located in the bedroom providing old fashioned charm.

Guest Cottage
1 King & 1 Sleep Sofa- Just behind the main house is our Guest Cottage. Sunlit and spacious, the king-size bed has a comfortable pillow-top mattress and silky cotton sheets, a down blanket, and for extra warmth, a down comforter. Big enough for families and cozy enough for a romantic couple, it has the relaxing feel of a summer cottage. The romantic gas fireplace is surrounded by a comfortable sleep sofa and two swivel upholstered airchairs. The sliding glass doors open onto a private deck overlooking the pond. Enjoy snacks and wine in the privacy of your own accommodations with a wet bar, small refrigerator and microwave. High speed wireless Internet extends to the Guest Cottage, and there is a large flat screen TV with DVD player over the fireplace. The bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub/shower combination and double vanity. Thick thirsty towels and fluffy bathmats are there, as well as soaps, shampoos, lotions and more.

The Suite
Grand and glorious, our Suite is on the second floor. The large master bedroom has a king-size bed, a large sitting area, a TV/VCR with DVD player, and a huge desk overlooking the Mink Brook. The bed has a thick pillowtop mattress, silky cotton sheets, down pillows and a down comforter. Facing south, it's sunny and spacious. The sitting room has a large window seat and a twin trundle bed. Made up to look like a sofa with lots of comfy cushions, it's actually two twin beds. The bottom bed slides out from underneath the top bed and pops up to regular height. Both are extra comfy and have silky cotton sheets, down pillows and down comforters. One of the bathrooms has a large tub and a double vanity. The smaller bathroom has a shower. Both have thick thirsty towels, fluffy bathmats and an array of amenities including soaps, shampoos, conditioners and body lotion. The Suite, has a maximum occupancy of four.

Blue Room
An elegant room on the second floor with a beautiful queen-size cherry sleigh bed. The pillow-top mattress is ultra-comfortable and the down pillows and silky smooth all-cotton sheets invite a deep slumber. A down comforter provides extra warmth on cold winter nights. The cherry desk allows a generous work surface and two upholstered side chairs offer comfortable seating. There is a TV/VCR, DVD player, alarm clock radio and high speed wireless Internet. The private bath has a shower only (no bathtub) with thirsty towels and a fluffy bath mat. The pedestal sink is located in the bedroom providing old fashioned charm. Our smallest room, the maximum occupancy in the Blue Room is two. Yellow Room
On the third floor room, the Yellow Room extends from the front to the back of the house and has dormers and a large window seat overlooking the Mink Brook. The romantic sleeping alcove contains a comfortable king-size bed. Lots of pillows let you snuggle in, the all-cotton sheets caresse you, and the down comforter keeps you cozy and warm. There are shelves on either side of the bed to hold reading material, the radio/alarm clock and other night-time essentials. While a wonderful room for two, the twin trundle bed provides extra sleeping making the Yellow Room great for families as well. During the day the trundle bed serves as a comfortable couch and at night the bottom bed pulls out and pops up to normal height adding two twin size beds to the sleeping configuration. A desk/dressing table provides a good work space for our business guests. There is a TV/VCR and high-speed wireless internet access. Windows on the north and on the south.

Minimum Stay Requirements: There is a two-night minimum on weekends and during foliage season (September 15 - October 31). If you request a single Friday or Saturday night, a 30% premium is required. Please call to inquire about a waiver of the extra charge on some weekends.
Cancellation: There is a $25 processing charge for all cancellations. For reservations including weekends and holidays: Cancellation of all or any part of your reservation less than two weeks prior to arrival date results in a one-night charge. If the room is unable to be re-booked for the entire stay, any unreserved nights will be charged at the full rate. Cancellation less than 72 hours in advance of the arrival date results in full charges for the entire reservation. For mid-week reservations: (Sunday through Thursday nights) Cancellation less than 72 hours in advance of the arrival date results in full charges for the entire reservation. Midweek business rate requires single occupancy. All other rates are double occupancy. Additional occupants (with advance notice) are charged $30 per person. Rates do not include the 8% NH Room & Meals Tax.
Pets: Innkeepers pets on premises, Pets Allowed, Don't leave your pooch at home - we welcome well behaved dogs in our Guest Cottage. Located directly behind the main house, it allows easy access to our spacious upper field and hiking trails. Innkeepers pets are not allowed in the B&B side of the house.
