Description
Circa 1922. This Montana ranch is situated at 6,000 feet in a high valley beneath Crazy Peak. Operated by fifth- and sixth-generation owners, the 20,000-acre ranch was established 115 years ago by Paul Van Cleve. Cabins are made of hand-hewn logs, and each has its own stone fireplace. Western decor includes Navajo rugs and antelope heads. Although riding is the main activity, great eating and fishing run a close second.
