Description

Circa 1892. This historic Queen Anne Victorian Inn was built in the 1890s for Isaac Staple's daughter, Aurora. Her husband, Adolphus Hospes, was a Civil War veteran and survivor of the famous first Minnesota charge at Gettysburg. The inn is elegantly decorated to reflect the Victorian era with five guest rooms offering a variety of amenities such as double whirlpool tubs, private baths and fireplaces. The Carriage House is also open as a guest room. A full breakfast is served, as well as wine and hors d'oeuvres during check-in. Enjoy our formal gardens or walk through the scenic St. Croix Valley.Location: Stillwater.
