Grand rooms with high ceilings, stained glass and polished oak floors are enhanced by a collection of period antiques. A carved, winding staircase and Italian mantels are other notable architectural showpieces. The innkeeper offers special packages and murder-mystery weekends. Picnic breakfast are prepared for early departures on the Badger Car ferry to Wisconsin. Special diets can be prepared with advance notice.
