Circa 1864. A gracious Victorian inn, the Mira Monte is known for its excellent breakfasts. It has been renovated in the style of early Bar Harbor and features period furnishings, pleasant common rooms, a library and wraparound porches. Situated on estate grounds, there are sweeping lawns, paved terraces and many gardens. The inn was one of the earliest of Bar Harbor's famous summer cottages. The Suites Buildings offers 4 suites with canopy beds, two-person whirlpools, a parlor with a sleeper sofa, fireplace, kitchenette unit and private decks with views of the gardens. Ash Cottage has one suite and two additional rooms. The two-bedroom suite includes a full kitchen, dining area and parlor.
