Description

Circa 1836. Family-owned for generations, this 3,500-acre working farm is one of the few in the area to survive the Civil War. Secluded in a grove of majestic oaks and pecan trees, accommodations include two cottages: Matt's Cabin (originally a sharecropper's home) and the 1850s Schoolhouse. Enjoy homemade banana or wheat bread topped with hand-harvested mayhaw jelly, cereals, fresh fruit and beverages.
